Energy Resources Project We are continuing to work in groups on our Energy Resources Projects. Most of the groups submitted their first video to me on Friday. Hopefully your child was able to get some work done on the other videos at home this past weekend. If you have not signed and returned the iPad contract, please do that as soon as possible. The kids will definitely be needing them at home to create their videos.

This chapter the class will be put into groups to research 1 specific Energy Resource ( coal, oil, natural gas, solar energy, hydroelectric energy, wind energy, nuclear power, biomass fuels, or geothermal energy). Over the next 2 weeks each group will be creating a series of short videos to answer the following questions.
1. Tell if your energy source is renewable or nonrenewable and give a brief description. 2. Give a brief history of your energy source. 3. Describe where your energy source is found and how it is recovered. 4. Explain how energy is stored in the source and how the energy is released. 5. Describe how your energy sources is used today. 6. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the energy source? 7. How does the energy sources impact the economy? 8. What is the future of the energy source? 9.
